Job Description
Sets up, operates and maintains digital printers in a manufacturing environment.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Reviews work orders to determine proper setup and operating procedures for high speed digital printers.
- Formats forms and electronic files for printing.
- Operates printers to produce a variety of documents and paper products.
- Maintains serviceability of printers by performing regular cleaning and minor repairs. Orders and maintains adequate supplies.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be detailed oriented and have high quality standards.
- Possess the ability to review final layouts and suggest improvements.
- Possess strong computer skills and confidence in dealing with multiple computer programs.
- Must be able to work independent of supervision.
- H.S. diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience with Photoshop, Illustrator, Indesign and Corel is preferred.
- Previous experience with the following printers: Roland Wide format, Gerber Edge thermal printer & plotter, Mimaki & Mutoh Wide format flatbed UV is preferred.
- Previous experience with a wide format laminator is preferred.
