Overview:
The Wellness Attendant will provide premiere membership experience, value, and service within the Wellness Center and YMCA; answering members questions, keeping equipment clean and maintained and providing a clean and safe environment.
Wellness Attendants are required to have a knowledge in wellness and/or fitness.
One position open for 3-4 shifts a week. Possibility for extra shifts/coverage.
Current position open is for every Monday (4pm-9pm), Tuesday (4pm-9pm), Friday (4pm-8pm), and Saturday (7am-3pm). (Open to changes)
Responsibilities:
- Perform equipment orientations for new and existing members.
- Perform basic cleaning according to a daily cleaning log.
- Performs fitness assessments on new and existing members.
- Provides assistance and recommendations to members looking for fitness advice.
- Maintains a clean, safe and enjoyable environment.
- Completes daily paperwork regarding wellness center activities.
Qualifications:
Knowledge of wellness and/or fitness.
Current CPR, First Aid, AED certification (within 30 days of hire).
Background/Child Abuse checks/Fingerprints (within 30 days of hire ).
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $9.00 - $10.00 per hour
