Job Summary
Schuyler Dental is seeking a licensed Dental Hygienist to join our modern, community-focused practice. We provide advanced care using the latest technology, including 3D printing, digital CAD/CAM, CO₂ laser dentistry, and robotic implant surgery. Our hygienists play a vital role in patient care, education, and preventive services.
Responsibilities
- Provide dental cleanings, scaling, polishing, fluoride, and sealants.
- Take and interpret digital X-rays and intraoral scans.
- Document patient medical and dental histories.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and preventive care.
- Collaborate with dentists on treatment planning.
- Maintain strict infection control and HIPAA compliance.
- Keep operatory clean, organized, and ready for patients.
Requirements
- Current Illinois Dental Hygienist license.
- Graduate of an accredited dental hygiene program.
- Strong skills in preventive care and patient communication.
- Comfortable working with both adult and pediatric patients.
- Familiarity with dental software (Open Dental preferred).
