Overview
Schuyler Dental is seeking a motivated and experienced Dental Assistant to join our modern, community-focused practice. This role is central to guiding our dental team, ensuring excellent patient care, and supporting our advanced digital workflows.
Duties
- Oversee daily clinical operations and support an efficient, patient-first workflow.
- Assist chairside for general, restorative, surgical, and pediatric procedures.
- Coordinate patient care and ensure accurate, HIPAA-compliant records.
- Mentor clinical staff in chairside assisting, infection control, and best practices.
- Perform and manage dental imaging (digital X-rays, intraoral scans, CBCT).
- Support integration of advanced technologies: CAD/CAM, 3D printing, CO₂ laser dentistry, and robotic implant surgery.
- Collaborate with dentists, hygienists, and assistants to deliver seamless care.
- Contribute to a supportive, growth-oriented team culture.
Skills & Qualifications
- Previous dental assisting experience preferred.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and maintain professionalism in a busy environment.
- Knowledge of infection control and sterilization protocols (training provided).
- Familiarity with Open Dental or similar software is a plus.
- Desire to grow into and expand clinical skills.
