Returns Clerk

Returns Clerk to own the process for receiving returned items to ensure we meet the customer’s expectations and accurately account for inventory and quality. 

Certor Sports has some of the most iconic performance and sports brands in the country, including Schutt and VICIS, whose helmets are currently ranked first by both the NFL and Virginia Tech University’s Helmet Lab.  Our innovative and cutting edge head-to-toe protective equipment is used for football, baseball, and softball as we protect everyone from the Pee-wees to the Pros.

The successful candidate will need to bring a passion for the details, strong analytical skills, a sense of urgency, and their best customer service attitude.  This job will never be boring as you will unpack and examine returns, inspect, determine, and record/report the quality of the returned items, then record the counts noting shortages & overages.

Responsibilities and Objectives include but not limited to:

• • Learn and understand our product lines and their components, plus follow our Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and return policies.

• • Learn the process to examine returned articles for defects, then sort and properly label according to extent of defect.

• • Properly process returns, records the necessary information, the communicate the necessary information to the appropriate departments and co-workers, and maintains records as required.

• • Process customer returns in a timely fashion, using multiple packages in our ERP system.

• • Safely operate a forklift/pallet jack to transport or store goods.

• • Open bales, crates, and other containers, plus assist in receiving as time permits.
