Purpose:
Work as part of a team having responsibility for assembling an entire product or component of a product. Assemblers can perform all tasks conducted by the team in the assembly process and rotate through all or most of them or be assigned to a specific task on a permanent basis.Education:

- Ability to assemble components of mechanical systems in accordance with the design specifications.
- Set-up and test assembled equipment analyzing the root cause of any defects.
- Ability to drill, taps, or ream holes.
- Ability to align and install dynamic components such as; levers, shafts and bearings testing their operational capacity.
- Ability to align and install components that mesh with one another.
- Ability to install components and connections and test for any leaks in the system.
- Ability to keep a clean, organized and safe work cell.
- Ability to keep an accurate record of daily operations and material usage.
