Duties

• Prepare and assemble food items efficiently while maintaining high standards of food safety and sanitation
• Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing, cashiering, and transactions
• Provide excellent customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and upselling menu items to enhance sales
• Handle cash accurately, perform cash handling duties, and manage register operations with precision
• Maintain cleanliness by bussing tables, cleaning workstations, and ensuring the restaurant remains tidy and inviting
• Follow food handling protocols to ensure proper sanitation and safety standards are met at all times
• Assist with food preparation tasks in the kitchen or café area as needed to support smooth operations

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food service, quick service restaurants, or the food industry is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is key!
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy hours
• Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and order accuracy
• Knowledge of food safety practices and sanitation procedures to uphold hygiene standards
• Ability to work well in a team environment with excellent communication skills
• Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus but not mandatory; training will be provided
• Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
