WHAT YOU WILL ACHIEVE
As a Bender Operator at our Covington facility, you will set up and operate bending machines to produce precision metal components that meet exact specifications. Your mechanical aptitude and attention to detail will directly support our production quality.
HOW YOU WILL DO IT
- Set up and operate bending machinery in accordance with prints and specifications
- Interpret technical drawings and follow work instructions with proficiency
- Conduct quality inspections using calipers, tapes, height gauges, and check fixtures
- Inspect equipment before use to ensure proper setup and alignment; perform basic adjustments and maintenance
- Collaborate with quality control and engineering teams to resolve issues
- Follow ISO quality procedures and maintain cleanliness using 5S process
- Maintain a safe work environment in compliance with MIOSHA regulations
WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU
Basic requirements:
- Prior related experience and/or training preferred, with reliable work history
- Prior knowledge of blueprints and precision technical plans (preferred)
- Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure
- Familiarity with Microsoft Windows and Office (or similar)
Physical requirements:
- Stand and walk throughout the shift; frequent bending, reaching, and repetitive movements
- Routinely lift up to 25 lbs.; occasionally 50 lbs.
- Depth perception and ability to adjust focus
- Ability to wear all required safety equipment
- Able to work in a noisy environment; hearing protection provided
- Able to work in an environment where Lockout/Tagout is a standard safety practice

Qualifications:QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
• Prior related experience and/or training preferred, with reliable work history
• Prior knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principles involved in production of precision technical plans, blueprints, drawings, and models (preferred)
SKILLS AND ABILITIES
• Familiar with Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office, or similar operating and software systems.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to speak effectively and clearly to others.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Ability to understand and carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
• Routinely required to stand and walk; use hands to handle and feel; reach with arms and hands; as well as climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl
• Routinely performs repetitive movements such as bending, twisting, reaching, lifting and pulling
• Routinely lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move more than 50 pounds
• Specific vision requirements include depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
• Must be able to wear all necessary safety equipment.
ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS
• Routinely work in a noisy (company-provided hearing protection is required) and non-temperature-controlled environment.
• Able to work in an environment where Lockout/Tagout is a standard safety practice for electrical equipment.
