Responsibilities
- Manage daily operations of the body shop, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Oversee scheduling of repairs and maintenance services to optimize workflow and meet customer demands.
- Maintain inventory of tools, and supplies, ensuring that the body shop is well-stocked at all times.
- Implement safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all employees.
- Conduct regular inspections of work performed by technicians to ensure quality standards are met.
- Handle customer inquiries and concerns professionally, providing solutions to enhance customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with other departments to streamline operations and improve service delivery.
Experience
- Proven experience in automotive body repair.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in auto body repair, auto restoration, or dealership operations is preferred.
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools relevant to the automotive industry.
- Previous managerial or supervisory experience is a plus, demonstrating the ability to lead a team effectively.
- Familiarity with auto glass replacement processes is advantageous but not required.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact positively with both staff and customers.
