The Express (Lube) Technician is responsible for performing routine vehicle maintenance and lubrication services efficiently and accurately, in accordance with dealership and manufacturer standards. This role plays a key part in ensuring vehicle safety, performance, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Perform oil changes, lubrication services, and basic vehicle inspections.
- Drain and refill engine oil; replace oil and air filters.
- Inspect and replenish vehicle fluid levels as needed.
- Check and adjust tire pressure.
- Lubricate vehicle components using specified materials.
- Document all work performed on repair orders.
- Communicate with the Parts Department to obtain required parts.
- Identify and report equipment defects or vehicle concerns to supervisors.
- Maintain cleanliness of customer vehicles and shop work areas.
- Participate in manufacturer-sponsored training programs.
- Follow all safety procedures and report hazards immediately.
- Maintain and properly store dealership-owned tools and manuals.
- Comply with all federal, state, and local regulations, including OSHA and hazardous waste standards.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

- Basic computer proficiency and strong attention to detail.
- Ability to write routine reports and documentation.
