Schultz & Pogue seeks a medical malpractice litigation paralegal to work with its medical malpractice defense team at the firm's downtown Indianapolis office.

Key Responsibilities: Manage medical review panel process; manage electronic and paper files including client documents, pleadings, discovery materials, panel submissions, non-party discovery, and other case documents; manage dockets and track calendar dates and deadlines; assist with electronic case filing in state and federal courts; draft appearances, pleadings, motions, and other legal documents; assist with trial, hearing, and deposition prep.
This is a hybrid position, Monday – Friday.

Standout candidates will have:
- Bachelor’s Degree, Associate Degree in paralegal studies or paralegal certificate required.
- Dedicated experience as a paralegal focusing in litigation.
- Experience in reviewing records and preparing medical chronologies
- Strong knowledge of applicable statutes, regulations, and court procedures.
- Excellent research and analytical skills.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Maintains confidentiality and exercises discretion in dealing with sensitive information.
