About the Role
Pipefitters install, assemble, maintain, and repair complex piping systems in industrial and commercial settings. As a Pipefitter Apprentice, you'll train through a multi-year program that combines on-the-job learning with classroom instruction-leading to New York State Journeyworker certification.
What You'll Learn
- Install, maintain, and repair piping systems, valves, and related equipment on critical infrastructure projects
- Develop skills such as welding and pipe joining under expert guidance
- Work alongside experienced professionals on diverse construction projects
- Build technical knowledge through structured classroom training
- Follow strict safety protocols and industry best practices
What We're Looking For
Must-haves:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment
- Commitment to safety and teamwork
- Successful completion of a pre-employment substance screening (per state & federal regulations)
Nice-to-haves:
- Prior trade school or college program experience
- Previous construction or mechanical work exposure
