The Massage Therapist administers professional massage and body treatments to our guests. Must possess a general understanding of our spa's specific massage and body treatment offerings. The massage therapist must have excellent communication skills and be able to learn the product and service knowledge necessary to effectively provide wellness solutions to meet the needs of our guests.
Summary of Responsibilities:
- Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service
- Perform massage and body treatments while maintaining the clients comfort at all times
- Ensure individualized guest service through acknowledging and responding to their needs and expectations
- Maintain an ample supplies in a neat and orderly fashion within the massage work area
- Maintain a clean and neat work environment at all times, ensuring all equipment is in safe working order
- Actively participate in other areas of the Spa Operation such as product knowledge and retail sales
- Ensure awareness of current trends in body treatments
- Follow departmental policies and procedures
- Follow all safety and sanitation policies
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- 2-3 years of recent massage therapist experience
- Demonstrates a positive, upbeat and customer-focused attitude
- Must maintain all current licenses and certifications that are required on a state or local level.
