Hotel Housekeeping Supervisor

Collegiate Hotel Group®, is seeking a Housekeeping Supervisor to join the Graduate Ann Arbor and its brilliant team of hospitality enthusiasts.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

· Inspects all assigned rooms and public areas to ensure furnishings, equipment, linens, etc. are clean and in good repair

· Provides efficient and objective feedback to room attendants to drive efficiency and quality within the housekeeping department

· Ensure that all associates have proper supplies, equipment and uniform including nametag and designated PPE

· Trains associates on safety standards and enforce those standards on a consistent basis. Identifies associates engaging in unsafe behaviors and retrain them appropriately. Completes accident investigations and take steps to prevent future accidents

· Performs all housekeeping duties necessary, including making beds, vacuuming and cleaning

· Verifies and updates status of discrepant rooms throughout the shift

· Perform opening and closing shift duties

· Notifies maintenance department of maintenance repairs necessary

· Monitor cleanliness of hotel including parking lot and exterior entrances

· Available to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed

· Other duties as assigned

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

· Housekeeping leadership experience preferred

· High School Diploma/GED

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

· Basic math skills

· Basic computer skills

· Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing

· Strong leadership skills

· Ability to exceed expectations of guests and team members
