JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Greet all guests with a warm and genuine welcome
- Escort guests to tables while engaging naturally and confidently
- Provide accurate wait times and manage guest expectations
- Acknowledge guests upon departure and invite them to return
- Manage reservations using OpenTable or designated platform
- Maintain an accurate seating chart and balanced table rotation
- Assist with watering tables, clearing plates, and resetting tables as needed
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of the host stand and dining areas
- Inspect dining room and service stations for readiness and cleanliness
- Communicate clearly with servers, bartenders, and management regarding table status and flow
- Support property activities and assist with event setup when needed
- Assist with basic transactions and closing duties when assigned
- Perform additional duties as directed by management
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Minimum of High School education
- Minimum of one (1) year in similar role preferred
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Team player
- Ability to multi-task
- Ability to communicate effectively verbally
- Ability to exceed expectations of guests and team members
- Ability to operate available equipment, such as cash registers, calculators, etc.
- Basic mathematical skills as needed to make change and give refunds
- Ability to work flexible hours and shifts
