Full Job Description
The Schroeder Wealth Advisors Advisor Development Program is a structured two-year experience designed to strengthen technical expertise and build the professional confidence needed for a long-term career in wealth management.
Throughout your time in our program, you will gain direct experience across the full client journey, through:
- Client Onboarding – understand how new client relationships are initiated and supported
- Client Operations – oversee paperwork, transfers, and custodian processes as the central hub of activity
- Tax Operations – collaborate with our CPA partners during tax season to see planning strategies put into practice
- Portfolio Management – assist with reporting, trading, and investment analysis tasks
- Financial Planning – work alongside advisors to design comprehensive, client-focused financial plans
- Direct Client Engagement – Sit in on live client meetings, building your way up to running designated parts of the meeting alongside an advisor, work with the client directly to implement changes to the plan and outside investment accounts
By the end of the program, you will be ready to grow into a financial advisor role here in our office

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required (all majors welcome, finance, accounting, economics, or business a plus)
- Previous internships or experience in wealth management, financial planning, banking, or insurance is beneficial
- Strong organizational and analytical problem-solving abilities
- Attention to detail with capacity to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a client-first perspective
- Proficiency with technology (Excel, CRM systems, financial platforms)
- Curious, driven, and eager to learn in a dynamic, team setting
