Attorney

Schroeder Law Group/Ohio Legacy Law is seeking a client-facing Attorney to join its growing Southern Ohio practice.

This position is a strong fit for either a newer attorney who wants to build real-world experience across several practice areas or an experienced attorney seeking meaningful work with better work-life balance.

The role includes appearances in local courts, collaboration as part of a litigation team, and direct client meetings for intake and strategy involving estate planning, probate, business, and real estate matters.

Responsibilities

• Meet with prospective and existing clients for intake, consultations, and strategy sessions involving estate planning, probate, business, and real estate matters.
• Represent clients in local courts and appear for hearings, conferences, and related proceedings as needed.
• Work as part of a litigation team, including matter development, client communication, and case support.
• Draft, review, and revise legal documents related to the firm’s core practice areas, including estate planning, probate, business, and real estate matters.
• Guide clients with clear, practical legal advice tailored to their goals and circumstances.
• Collaborate with firm staff to move matters forward efficiently and maintain a high level of client service.

Qualifications

• Licensed attorney in Ohio or expecting Ohio licensure in the near term.
• Strong interpersonal skills and comfort in a client-facing role.
• Ability to appear in local courts and handle matters professionally from intake through resolution.
• Interest in or experience with estate planning, probate, business, real estate, and related litigation.
• Organized, dependable, and able to work well within a team-based environment.
• New attorneys with strong initiative are encouraged to apply, and experienced attorneys seeking a balanced schedule are also welcome.
