Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an Expanded Duties Dental Assistant based in Indianapolis, IN. The role involves directly assisting dentists during procedures, delivering excellent patient care, and ensuring the sterilization and preparation of dental tools and equipment. Additional responsibilities include taking and developing X-rays, maintaining detailed patient records, and providing education and guidance on oral hygiene practices. The role may also require collaboration with office staff to ensure seamless day-to-day operations of the dental practice.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Dental Assisting and expanded duties, with knowledge of procedures and patient support
- Skilled in Dental Care, Oral Care, and general Dentistry practices
- Experience with Sterilization methods and adherence to hygiene protocols
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients and team members
- Relevant certification or licensure as an Expanded Duties Dental Assistant in the state of Indiana
- Basic computer skills for managing patient records and utilizing dental office software
- CPR certification is a plus
