Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Accounting Controller role based in Phoenix, AZ. The Accounting Controller will oversee the company's financial operations, ensuring compliance and accuracy in financial reporting. Responsibilities include managing financial statements, supervising financial reporting processes, maintaining business controls, and providing analytical insights for financial decision-making. The role also encompasses the development and implementation of policies and procedures to optimize the company's financial performance.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Business Control, including the development and monitoring of financial policies and compliance with regulations.
- Extensive experience with Sage 100 accounting software
- Strong Analytical Skills for evaluating financial data, identifying trends, and supporting strategic decision-making.
- Expertise in creating, reviewing, and analyzing Financial Statements and other key financial documents.
- Knowledge of Finance principles and Financial Reporting to ensure the accuracy and presentation of financial information.
- Exceptional organizational and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CMA certification preferred.
- Experience in the construction industry or with union-affiliated organizations is a plus.
