Essential Functions
- Provide administrative support to faculty and department leadership (scheduling, communications, records, events).
- Serve as the primary contact for educator certification, advising students on requirements and timelines.
- Track, verify, and submit certification documentation in accordance with Texas Education Agency (TEA) standards
- Maintain accurate student and certification records and assist with reporting and accreditation needs.
- Support student services, recruitment activities, and departmental initiatives.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
- Strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills.
- High attention to detail and ability to manage deadlines.
- Working knowledge of or ability to quickly learn TEA certification standards and processes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; higher education experience preferred.
- May include occasional travel related to certification, training, or program support.
- Other duties as assigned.
