Assurance Associate

Position Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented
Audit Associate
to join our audit team. This entry-level role offers a great opportunity to work with experienced professionals, gain hands-on experience in the audit field, and develop a career in public accounting. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, a commitment to accuracy, and a willingness to learn.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the planning and execution of financial statement audits, reviews, and compilations
• Perform substantive testing of account balances and transactions
• Prepare audit workpapers and documentation in accordance with professional standards
• Support senior staff and managers in client communications and fieldwork
• Identify accounting and auditing issues and propose solutions
• Stay up to date with current accounting and audit practices and standards

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
• CPA eligible or planning to pursue CPA certification
• Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
• Willingness to travel locally to client sites, as needed
