Position Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented
Audit Associate
to join our audit team. Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the planning and execution of financial statement audits, reviews, and compilations
- Perform substantive testing of account balances and transactions
- Prepare audit workpapers and documentation in accordance with professional standards
- Support senior staff and managers in client communications and fieldwork
- Identify accounting and auditing issues and propose solutions
- Stay up to date with current accounting and audit practices and standards
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
- CPA eligible or planning to pursue CPA certification
- Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Willingness to travel locally to client sites, as needed
