Your Contribution
- Foster strong working relationships between employees and HR; seek to be first point of contact for employee matters/issues
- Provide support to managers, supervisors and employees regarding employee relations
- Recruit and lead the entire talent acquisition process for all open job vacancies, both permanent and temporary placements
- Maintain employee files with proper documentation of changes in compensation, position, benefits, training and disciplinary action
- Update HR SAP and HR Org-Management to maintain information and document accuracy
- Conduct specific HR tasks, including hiring/staffing, administering benefits, new hire orientation, monitoring absenteeism, timekeeping, etc.
- Support FMLA, short-term disability and worker's compensation
- Manage department initiatives and projects, while satisfying applicable milestones and goals
- Coordinate and roll-out/execute site employee activities
- Recommend continuous improvement measures regarding policies and/or procedures, while ensuring adherence to all labor laws and regulations regarding employment relationship
- Manage payroll tasks and payroll system [Kronos]
- Support safety/EHS directives and maintain a clean and safe workspace; follow cGMP
Your Profile
- BA/BS in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology or related degreed program
- Minimum 5-years of experience in Human Resources, preferred
- Sound comprehension of US and state labor laws
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, SAP and KRONOS
- Understanding of ISO and cGMP, preferred
- Ability to read, write and speak English language
- Multi-tasking abilities
- Detail oriented approach
- Upbeat, team approach; service oriented mindset
- Well organized
- Robust communication skills and openness to lead/help others [in manufacturing setting, preferred]
