In the role of Farm Operations Technician, you will be an integral part to the daily management and productivity of agricultural activities. We’re looking for a skilled, dependable person with a farming background to keep our fleet of trucks, trailers, tractors and equipment running smoothly. This is a hands-on role that combines shop work, field repairs and equipment operation. We also have a swine operation that requires repairs on buildings and controller troubleshooting at times. Qualifications & Responsibilities
- Background in farming and agriculture
- Mechanical knowledge and equipment repair skills
- Ability to work on light & heavy duty trucks, trailers, tractors & equipment
- Perform routine preventive maintenance, including oil changes, greasing, filter replacements and inspections
- Prepare equipment for seasonal use, including planting and harvest readiness
- Experience with farm machinery & Equipment
- Operate farm equipment as needed to support field operations
- Keep records of maintenance and repairs
- Driver's License Required
- CDL Preferred
Competitive wage based on experience
Full time position with minimum of 40 hours/week
