What are the responsibilities and job description for the Coating Operator position at SCHOTT AG?
Your Contribution
- Manual or automated cleaning of glass, packaging, and supplies
- Inspect ware, coating, and frame quality
- Apply frame to coated optics
- Packing and documentation of product shipments
- Operation of automated coating equipment and transporting glass through process stages
- Test sag and transmitted wave front of glass
- Computer entry of production results
- Transport glass
- Maintain accuracy, efficient work while upholding quality control
- Maintain orderliness and cleanliness within work areas
- Implement 5S plus safety principles within work areas
Other duties as assigned
Your Profile
High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
1-3 years in manufacturing environment. Clean Room experience a plus.
Ability to use business systems and Microsoft Office Suite software proficiently. Ability to use basic computer operations required.
