Two different shifts - 7am - 3pm and 11am - 7pm (because some of us like to sleep in and some are early birds). If you are a positive, energetic and caring individual with a passion for working with people, then we would like to hear from you.
Qualified applicants must be dependable, able to maintain standards under pressure, strive for excellence and want to be an important member of our great culinary team. Weekends and evening shifts are required.
Specific Requirements
1.Must be able to read, write and speak the English Language.
2. Must possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.
3. Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel and the general public.
4. Must be knowledgeable of dietary procedures, as well as related laws, regulations and guidelines pertaining to hospital and nursing home operation.
5. Must be able to follow oral and written instructions.
6. Must maintain the care and use of supplies, equipment, appearance of work areas, regular inspection of food service areas for sanitation, order, safety and proper performance of assigned duties.
