Position Overview:
The Investment Banking Associate (“Associate”) will serve as a key member of the firm’s strategic and advisory practices, and will work directly with its partners and stakeholders. The Associate will play a central role in originating and supporting sell-side and buy-side transactions, including client interaction, marketing materials, financial modeling, and management of transaction documentation to ensure that SchoolWise Partners provides high quality execution with its stakeholders. The ideal candidate will combine prior investment banking experience as an analyst at a top-tier firm. The candidate must have the ability to manage multiple transactions and navigate through its complex processes with the stakeholders from sourcing to closing. The Firm is interested in candidates located in, or who would be willing to relocate to, the Miami market.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Building relationships and maintaining direct contact with current and prospective clients;
- Execute detailed tasks involved in all phases of M&A engagements including (1) preparing client marketing presentations, (2) analyzing historical and projected financials, (3) developing complex financial and valuation models, (4) coordinate transaction execution and due diligence;
- Manage the workflow and cross-functional internal groups / external parties;
- Serve as lead role in providing financial, business and market analysis with a special emphasis on reformatting financial statements and benchmarking key performance metrics;
- Support additional strategic and growth related projects as needed.
Requirements:
- Minimum of three years of investment banking experience (ideally in a M&A role);
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills including experience in valuation, financial modeling and analysis. Financial modeling skills and business strategy execution skills are a must;
- High level of accounting knowledge and proficiency around 3-statement financial analysis.
- Significant transaction experience;
- Strong confidence in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint capabilities;
- Outstanding interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills;
- Strong project management skills and attention to detail;
- Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred.
Compensation:
· Base Salary of $125,000.
· Target cash bonus of 75% of Base Salary

Location: The Company is headquartered in Miami, FL. This will be a remote position for the first 6 months until the firm formally re-opens its office after the pandemic subsides.
