The Schoolhouse Children's Museum is seeking a passionate and engaging Nias Outreach Educator to facilitate a literacy program for preschoolers. This is a contractor position ideal for an educator with experience in early childhood education who enjoys interactive storytelling and fostering a love of reading in young children.
Responsibilities:
- Facilitate a structured literacy program for preschool-aged children at various locations.
- Lead interactive storytelling, songs, and hands-on activities that promote early literacy skills.
- Foster an engaging and positive learning environment for young children.
- Communicate effectively with teachers and caregivers to ensure smooth program delivery.
Qualifications:
- Experience in early childhood education (required).
- Background in education, literacy, or a related field preferred.
- Comfort with public speaking and leading interactive programs.
- Ability to be flexible and adaptable in different preschool environments.
- Reliable transportation for travel to program locations.
