What are the responsibilities and job description for the School Psychologist position at Schoolforce Solutions Inc?
We are looking for a talented School Psychologist for the school year.
Hourly Rate Range: $45.00 - $65.00 per hour
Responsibilities would include:
- Conduct psychological evaluations and assessments to support student learning and development.
- Participate in the development and implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and Section 504 Plans.
- Provide counseling and behavioral support services to students.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, administrators, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Assist in conducting Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs) and developing Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs).
- Support crisis intervention and prevention strategies.
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with IDEA, Section 504, Texas Education Agency (TEA) guidelines, and district regulations.
- Provide consultation to staff regarding student behavior, mental health, and academic interventions.
Required Qualifications:
- Master’s or Doctoral Degree in School Psychology.
- Valid Licensed Specialist in School Psychology (LSSP) credential issued by the Texas State Board of Examiners of Psychologists (TSBEP).
- Nationally Certified School Psychologist (NCSP) credential preferred through the National Association of School Psychologists.
- Experience in a school-based setting preferred.
- Fingerprint Clearance & Background Check required.
