What are the responsibilities and job description for the School Psychologist position at Schoolforce Solutions Inc?
We are looking for a talented School Psychologist for the school year.
This School Psychologist will serve middle school age students, hours are from 7:30am-3:15pm
Hourly Rate Range: $55.00-$68.00 per hour
Responsibilities would include:
- Conduct psychological assessments to evaluate students’ academic, cognitive, and social-emotional needs.
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and 504 Plans.
- Provide individual and group counseling to support student mental health and behavior.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and special education teams to develop intervention strategies.
- Participate in IEP meetings, student evaluations, and crisis intervention as needed.
- Maintain confidential records and documentation per Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE) and IDEA guidelines.
- Provide training and consultation for staff on mental health, behavior management, and student wellness.
Required Qualifications:
- Master’s or Doctorate in School Psychology from an accredited program.
- Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with a School Psychologist Endorsement (issued by the Illinois State Board of Education – ISBE).
- Nationally Certified School Psychologist (NCSP) preferred.
- Fingerprint Clearance & Background Check required.
