- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing and transactions
- Take customer orders accurately, upsell menu items to enhance sales, and provide friendly service
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, cleaning workstations, and adhering to food safety protocols
- Handle cash transactions with accuracy, including cash handling and basic math calculations for change
- Assist in food handling, packaging, and serving to ensure quick turnaround times in a fast food setting
- Support team members during busy periods by managing multiple tasks such as food prep, cashiering, and customer assistance
Skills
- Proven experience in food preparation or food service environments, preferably in quick service or fast food restaurants
- Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS for efficient order processing
- Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and effective communication abilities
- Ability to manage time effectively in a high-pressure setting to ensure prompt service
