Job Summary
Under supervision, the General Maintenance position performs skilled and semi-skilled work in the following maintenance fields: HVAC, carpenter, electrician, equipment mechanic, and plumber-fitter. Must have acquired sufficient training and experience to complete repairs in plumbing, electrical, carpentry, HVAC, and grounds equipment areas.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma.
- Valid Michigan Driver’s License and College approved driving record.
- Five (5) years experience/training in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and carpentry trades; documentation provided by employee per Article XV, Section F.
- Must be willing to work overtime as needed.
- Ability to communicate and work well with others.
- Ability to supervise others.
- Proven record of dependability and reliability.
