School of the Incarnation is seeking qualified candidates for an in-person extended care teacher/assistant for the 2025-2026 school year and beyond. This teacher is expected to foster a faith-filled, Catholic learning environment which recognizes the dignity of each person while having the skill and expertise to be accountable for the care and supervision of children within our Extended School Program (ESP), before and after the school day, and/or during summer camps as scheduled. Their primary responsibilities are the safety and well-being of children in their care, but they also provide some instruction or educational support.
Essential Functions
- Implement a program of instruction that adheres to the goals and objectives of the program.
- Make observations, collect data, and give input to Director.
- Maintains confidentiality regarding students, their families, and other employees.
- Responsible for the safety and active supervision of students at all times.
- Work collaboratively with other teachers, staff, and school administration.
Position Qualifications
- Minimum of a High School Diploma and 90-hour child care certification.
- Experience in a Catholic School setting preferred.
- An appreciation for young students and their families.
- Willingness to support the mission of the Catholic Faith and the Archdiocese of Baltimore Catholic Schools.
Range: $15 - $18, Hourly
