Drum Instructor
Position Summary:
The Drum Instructor delivers instruction through School of Rock Princeton’s performance-based model, including private lessons, rehearsals, and performance preparation.
Responsibilities:
Provide weekly Drum instruction across skill levels
Support group rehearsals (Rock 101, Performance Program)
Prepare students for live performances
Maintain lesson notes and track student progress
Communicate with parents, students, and staff
Maintain a safe and organized environment
Schedule Expectations:
Availability between 2:00 PM and 9:00 PM on weekdays
Weekend availability as needed
Compensation: Hourly rate ranging from $20 to $25, based on qualifications and experience
Compliance:
This role involves working with minors and requires adherence to safety guidelines and completion of a background screening prior to employment.
Qualifications:
3 years of Drum teaching or performance experience
Knowledge of music theory and technique
Strong organization and communication skills
Background check required
