The Music Instructor positively embodies rock and roll and is responsible for creating a valuable student experience that helps our students learn music and life skills.Music Instruction:● Maximize the quality of music instruction through private lessons and show rehearsals● Ensure students are learning the fundamentals of music, not just songs, using the School of Rock Method™● Create and document thoughtful lesson plans using our patented teaching Method, Books and Method AppCustomer Connection:● Communicate with parents on the progress of students by creating quality lesson notes and assignments in the School of Rock Method App for at-home practice● Interact with parents and students regularly by being visible and accessible while at the school● Pitch in during canceled lessons in the overall execution of the program● Assist in rehearsals and with the upkeep of lesson facilities schoolSkill Requirements:● 2 years experience teaching and/or performing music professionally● Knowledge of music theory and curriculum design● Strong customer relations skills. Excellent ability to deal well with a wide range of customers● Strong organizational skills● Resourceful; good problem-solver● Works well under pressure● Enthusiastic, flexible, patient, and positive demeanor● Passion for teaching#IndspoMon-Friday 3:30-8:45pmSat 10:00am-4:00pm(days and hours optional to you schedule)
