What are the responsibilities and job description for the Educational Assistant (Limited Term) position at School District of Shell Lake?
The Shell Lake School District is seeking a full-time limited term employee working at our elementary school starting December 8, 2025, and ending June 5, 2026.
The position is 37.50 hours per week. Experience is preferred, but not required. The individual hired needs to have strong communication, technology skills, and be flexible to change. The job involves the following tasks:
1. Effectively assist with instruction and students accomplishment of specific academic tasks.
2. Effectively assist in the school-wide implementation of instructional and behavioral practices and interventions to improve student outcomes (e.g. data collection, modeling, and reteaching, etc.).
3. Supervise and assist students, as needed, in other school environments e.g. classrooms, gym, lunchroom, playground, washroom, field trips, etc.
4. Use appropriate computer and technology-based equipment, tools, and materials for data collection, information management, and instruction as assigned.

Experience
- Prior experience working with children in educational settings such as daycare, preschool, private schools, or special education programs is preferred.

Pay: $16.48 - $17.18 per hour
