Responsibilities
- Assist lead teachers in preparing and organizing classroom materials and activities aligned with educational goals.
- Support children’s learning by engaging them in age-appropriate play, educational exercises, and developmental activities.
- Supervise children during indoor and outdoor playtimes, ensuring safety and encouraging positive social interactions.
- Help implement behavior management strategies to promote respectful and cooperative classroom behavior.
- Provide basic caregiving support such as diapering, feeding, and comforting children as needed.
- Support children with special needs or disabilities by adapting activities and providing personalized assistance under supervision.
- Maintain a clean, organized classroom environment that fosters learning and safety at all times.
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding children’s progress and daily activities.
Experience
- Prior experience working with children in settings such as daycare, preschool, babysitting, nannying, or similar environments is highly valued.
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education practices is preferred.
- Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs is a plus.
- Familiarity with classroom management techniques to promote positive behavior is desirable.
- Certification or training in first aid and CPR is advantageous; ongoing training in special education or behavior management is welcomed.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with educators, caregivers, and families to support children's growth.
