Responsibilities

• Assist lead teachers in preparing and organizing classroom materials and activities aligned with educational goals.
• Support children’s learning by engaging them in age-appropriate play, educational exercises, and developmental activities.
• Supervise children during indoor and outdoor playtimes, ensuring safety and encouraging positive social interactions.
• Help implement behavior management strategies to promote respectful and cooperative classroom behavior.
• Provide basic caregiving support such as diapering, feeding, and comforting children as needed.
• Support children with special needs or disabilities by adapting activities and providing personalized assistance under supervision.
• Maintain a clean, organized classroom environment that fosters learning and safety at all times.
• Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding children’s progress and daily activities.

Experience

• Prior experience working with children in settings such as daycare, preschool, babysitting, nannying, or similar environments is highly valued.
• Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education practices is preferred.
• Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs is a plus.
• Familiarity with classroom management techniques to promote positive behavior is desirable.
• Certification or training in first aid and CPR is advantageous; ongoing training in special education or behavior management is welcomed.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with educators, caregivers, and families to support children's growth.

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
