School District of Onalaska is accepting applications for a 4-hour cook position at Onalaska High School. The hours are 9:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m.
This position is responsible for maintaining a high-quality child nutrition program in an atmosphere of efficiency, cleanliness and warmth.
No nights or weekends, school day only, and summer school work is available if interested.
Qualifications:
1. High School Diploma or GED required
2. Prior experience in quantity cooking preferred
3. Communication skills - both verbal and written
4. Organizational skills
5. Knowledge of basic mathematics
6. Ability to deal with stressful situations
7. Ability to cooperate with co-workers
8. Ability to accept change with a positive attitude
9. Capable of lifting 42-50 pounds unassisted
