JOB GOAL: To ensure the safe, prompt and dependable distribution of School District of Lancaster supplies, materials, equipment, and any other items as directed to support a smooth and seamless educational system.
EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Make general pickups and deliveries throughout the District, such as food, equipment, supplies and furniture.Inspect delivery vehicles on a regular basis for the purpose of routine maintenance.Accurately sort and distribute mail, money bags, parcels, documents and other materials.Receive and deliver insured or registered mail.Evaluate and adjust delivery schedules.Maintain good working relationships with District personnel and external representatives.Maintain an organized environment within the Warehouse.Procure, deliver, and arrange furniture and other requested items for District events. Obtain, organize, and enter pertinent work order data in an accurate and timely fashion.Perform other related duties as assigned by supervisor. MARGINAL FUNCTIONS Assist with snow and ice removal as directed by supervisor Must be willing to engage in ongoing professional development.

REPORTS TO: Assistant Director of Facilities and Building Operations SUPERVISES: Not applicableTERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: Full year, Essential Personnel EVALUATION: For new employees, evaluations will be performed according to the collective bargaining agreement. For transferring employees, evaluations will be done at 30 days.All regular employees will be evaluated at least yearly.
