Duties

• Utilize educational technology tools to enhance classroom instruction and facilitate interactive learning experiences
• Manage classroom responsibilities effectively, including behavior management, classroom organization, and student engagement strategies
• Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum implementation, assessment strategies, and instructional best practices
• Communicate regularly with parents through conferences, reports, and digital platforms to support student progress
• Incorporate standardized testing preparation and academic advising into lesson plans to measure student achievement

Requirements

• Proven teaching experience with teenagers in middle or high school settings, including classroom management and curriculum delivery
• Strong knowledge of childhood development, learning styles adaptability, and inclusive education practices
• Familiarity with educational compliance regulations, instructional modifications, and assessment standards
• Excellent communication skills for effective parent-teacher interactions and public speaking engagements
• Experience working with children from diverse cultural backgrounds and students with special education needs
• Proficiency in curriculum development, lesson planning, proofreading, copy editing, and writing skills aligned with AP style or Chicago Manual of Style where applicable
• Knowledge of learning technology integration, library services, educational technology tools, and sports coaching experience is a plus
• Demonstrated ability to mentor students, collaborate with teachers, and support educational administration efforts
• A passion for fostering literacy education, creative writing, physical education activities, and childhood development initiatives
