Salary:
The minimum starting pay is $30,300*/year and the maximum salary is $61,199*/year. Initial pay placement is dependent on level of formal education and years of relevant experience.

Qualifications:
BA/BS in Nursing from accredited college or university, preferred
Colorado licensed Registered Nurse preferred; LPN will be considered
Must qualify for adjunct Nursing faculty at Pikes Peak Community College (12 months nursing experience caring for the elderly or chronically-ill of any age, experience or training in teaching adults OR 12 months managing Nursing Assistants)
Vocational CTE license endorsed in Health Sciences or proof of eligibility (see attached worksheet for qualifications)

Expectations for Performance
Students will take courses on campus facilitated by the blended teacher
Providing regular education and RtI-related services such as consultation, affective education and participation on Student Support Teams
Collaborative consultation with school personnel
Collaboration with the online teaching and administrative staff to establish enrichment programs to help foster the blended model of education
Active participation in staff development, including cross-disciplinary teaching
Participation on the Student Support Team
Comprehend the curriculum in ins entirety for assigned grade levels
Demonstrate knowledge of the state standards and how both align with the online curriculum provider
Understand overall diversity of assigned families and individual characteristics of students/parents; specifically how this impacts support needed
Utilizes asynchronous and synchronous tools to augment course content according to prescribed policies and procedures set by the district
Orients students to course and communicates course requirements
Maintains regular office hours and conducts instructional sessions
Sets and enforces deadlines for student work
Supports parents with student curricular and instructional issues
Responsible for student academic progress and attendance
Balance flexibility of the online curriculum with Falcon Virtual Academy's policies and procedures
