Responsibilities
- Provides for emergency care of students, school personnel and visitors
- Develops health care plans for students needing special physical health care procedures to be provided at school
- Appraises the health status of students
- Participates in the evaluation of students referred for special education
- Conducts health screenings for the purpose of identifying health concerns
- Knows and applies the State rules and regulations which govern school health
- Maintains accurate records pertaining to the health needs of all students
- Enters data into Powerschool for the purpose of supporitng health service activities
- Maintains inventory of medications and office supplies for the purpose of ensuring items are available as needed
- Maintains student health informational records for the purpose of providing information required by regulatory requirements
- Financial Stability- Salary Range- $59,000-$62,000, based on experience
