Duties And Responsibilities
- Substitute teachers must be flexible in regards to where and how often they work.
- Substitute teachers must be able to accept jobs with very little notice.
- Substitute teachers must continue a high quality learning environment in their classroom.
- Valid licenses may include one-year, three-year or five-year substitute licenses and initial or professional teaching licenses from the Colorado Department of Education (CDE).
- Experience working with students in a classroom setting is preferred, but not required.
- Successful substitute teachers must have a passion for teaching, and have a desire to work with a diverse group of children.
