Pennock Elementary is seeking a passionate Gifted and Talented Teacher to support our Achieve Institute, a school-within-a-school model designed to meet the academic and social-emotional needs of advanced learners. This educator will foster student ownership, curiosity, and high levels of achievement through rigorous and engaging instruction. Pennock Elementary is committed to developing independent, motivated learners and seeks an educator who is excited to contribute to a collaborative and innovative school community. Staff work within strong PLC and MTSS structures, using multiple data sources to inform instruction and personalize learning. This is a full-time, 1.0 FTE position and is eligible for benefits.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide rigorous, differentiated instruction aligned to Colorado Academic Standards and best practices in gifted education
- Design integrated, inquiry-based learning experiences that extend and enrich student thinking
- Use student data and progress monitoring tools to guide instruction and support growth
- Collaborate with classroom teachers to support differentiation and extension within the general education setting
- Participate in PLCs and MTSS processes to support both academic and social-emotional student needs
- Support development of student independence, goal setting, and self-advocacy
- Communicate effectively with families and contribute to a positive, collaborative school culture
- Colorado licensure in Elementary Education
- Gifted and Talented endorsement (or willingness to obtain within 3 years)
- Knowledge of gifted instructional practices, differentiation, and performance-based assessment
- Strong collaboration, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to a dynamic environment
