Elementary School - Principal

A 27J school is seeking a Principal who will direct and manage the instructional programs and educational process. This is a full time, or 1.0 FTE, position with benefits.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree minimum; other advanced graduate work preferred.
• Colorado Principal License or Administrator License.
• At least three years of administrative experience as a school principal or assistant principal required.
• At least three years' teaching experience at the elementary level required.
• Experience and knowledge of curriculum for elementary schools, with a knowledge of state standards required.
  
  

Required Qualifications

• A valid Colorado Department of Education Principal license.
• The ability to handle many complex tasks simultaneously.
• The ability to facilitate and coach a high-functioning team.
• The ability to define roles and share responsibility to move the school vision forward.
• The ability to seek out and engage the perspective of others.
• The emotional intelligence to understand others' needs and provide support.
• The ability and interest to learn continuously and to adapt to changing circumstances (student characteristics, curriculum, and so on).
• A belief in empowering all children as owners of their learning.
