Are you a compliance-savvy educator with a passion for ensuring every student gets the support they deserve? The Keene School District is seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher to join our Student Services team for the upcoming 2026-2027 school year.
In this vital role, you will act as the bridge between the district and our students attending charter schools. You will ensure that every student residing within SAU 29 receives high-quality services while remaining fully compliant with state and federal special education laws.
Key Responsibilities
- Compliance Leadership: Manage special education cases for students in charter and private school settings.
- Strategic Monitoring: Work directly with Student Services to track student progress and ensure the effective delivery of specialized instruction and support services.
- Collaboration: Act as a primary liaison between the district, private/charter institutions, and families to foster a cohesive educational environment.
- Documentation: Maintain precise records, facilitate IEP meetings, and ensure all legal timelines are met with accuracy.

Qualifications
- Certification: Must hold New Hampshire Teacher Certification in Special Education with Endorsement 1900.
- Education: Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree and/or advanced endorsements are preferred.
- Experience: Proven ability to interact effectively and professionally with a diverse range of students, staff, and families.
- Clearance: Successful completion of a NH criminal background check is required.
