What are the responsibilities and job description for the JV Girls Volleyball Coach position at School Administrative Unit #9?
TITLE: JV Girls Volleyball Coach
REPORTS TO: Athletic Director
SEASON: mid-August to late-October, with postseason tournament to follow
SCHEDULE: Games and practices Monday - Friday, with some weekends possible. *Subject to change
SKILLS REQUIRED: Previous coaching at the high school level and experience working with teenagers preferred. The coach will be responsible for team activities including all scheduled practices and games, and adhere to district policies, rules, and objectives. The coach will lead by example among the team and players. Focus will be on personal development, skill development, safety, fair play, sportsmanship, and work to establish and improve the team and program.
Candidates should be dependable, detail-oriented, willing to work within a coaching staff atmosphere, able to travel with the team to and from away games, and meet or be willing to complete all Conway School District, Kennett High School and NHIAA requirements.
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: There are no benefits associated with this position. Stipend amount is determined by Appendix D of the CEA Agreement.
