What are the responsibilities and job description for the Summer Speech Language Assistant position at School Administrative Unit 43?
The successful candidate will collaborate with the Speech and Language Pathologists to provide a comprehensive speech/language program for the district.
Position Responsibilities:
Under supervision of Speech Language Pathologists provide individual and group therapy based on students' Individual Education Plan and 504 plans
Provide individual and group therapy based on students' Individualized Education Plans and 504 plans
Provide Response to Intervention services based on students' individual needs
Attend educational resource team meetings, when and where appropriate
Monitor student progress, in regards to individual education plans, and document through therapy notes and progress reports
Have an understanding and comply with any state or federal regulations regarding the position of a speech language assistant
Complete Medicaid reimbursement forms in a timely manner.
Any other duties assigned by administration
