What are the responsibilities and job description for the Accounts Payable Clerk position at School Administrative Unit # 21?
SAU 21 is actively seeking a qualified candidate for the Accounts Payable Clerk position. This is a year-round, full time support staff, non-exempt position with benefits. Qualifications include a minimum high school diploma with demonstrated aptitude or competencies for assigned responsibilities which include but are not limited to receiving purchase orders from schools, sorting and tracking invoices by district and obtaining approval for each purpose. AP checks are typically prepared twice monthly for each school district. Other responsibilities include preparing monthly reports and processing 1099's annually along with monthly reconciliations with the treasurer's reports and special projects requested by the school and SAU administrators. This position requires accuracy, attention to detail and excellent customer service skills.
Salary Range based on experience: $24.80 - $31.01 per hour
