What are the responsibilities and job description for the 2026-2027 ESOL Teacher - SAU Wide position at School Administrative Unit 21?
The SAU 21 School District is actively seeking a qualified candidate for a District Wide ESOL Teacher. The successful candidate is responsible for acelerating the learning and acquistion of English and the academic content of Math, Language Arts, Science, and Social Studies in order to meet classroom expections; serve as a liaison between the ESOL student and classroom teachers and their families and the school. Implement all ESOL procedures in order to be in compliance with legal responsibilites. Provide leadership and consultation as the second language specialist to all staff in assigned schools. Caseload will be established according to needs across the SAU 21 School Districts.
