JOB ANALYSIS

To serve the students attractive and nutritious meals in an efficient and friendly manner.

REPORTS TO

Kitchen Manager or Supervisor

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Food preparation as directed by Kitchen Manager.
• Operates food service equipment in a safety manner and within sanitation guidelines
• Performs all duties requested relating to specific food service jobs listed below:

Cooks, cashiers, servers, and dishwashers.

• Rotate through cook, cashier, server, and dishwasher positions as directed by the Kitchen Manager or Supervisor.
• Serves students and staff in a consistent and pleasant manner
• Maintains the highest possible standards of sanitation.

• Demonstrates positive work habits by showing initiative, cooperation, dependability, efficiency, and productivity
• Performs in a professional manner when interacting with students, parents, faculty, administration, and co-workers
• Follows the guidelines of confidentiality as established by the school district.
• Attends and participates in relevant training sessions, meetings and professional growth activities as requested and/or required.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience in restaurants or food service preferred.
